Prehistory Figurine: Darwin's Frog

The Darwin's Frog is now extinct. It has not been seen since 1981. This small species of frog (about 3.5 cm/1.4" in length) takes its name from the explorer Charles Darwin. He discovered the frog during his "Voyage of the Beagle". The Darwin's frog is capable of camouflage on the forest floor, thanks to its evolving dried-leaf appearance. The Northern Darwin's frog demonstrates "mouth-brooding" parental care, with the young undergoing part of their development in the parent's mouth.

Le problème chez collecta c est que dès qu ils sortent des bruns gris les couleurs sont pas très vivante à comparatif avec papo mais ça reste une belle figurine en soi
