The panda is, along with the kangaroo, the mammal that gives birth to the smallest babies in the world. At birth, little pandas weigh no more than 100g, the weight of a chocolate bar or a yogurt! After four weeks, the typical black and white fur begins to appear on the pups; after 6 to 8 weeks, they open their eyes for the first time. They stay with their mother for about two years and are very playful. Their mother likes to gently roll them here and there and fight gently with them.
