Product description : Kaprosuchus figurine

hand-painted plastic figurine, reproducing the Kaprosuchus, an extinct crocodile living in the Late Cretaceous. Kaprosuchus, whose name means "wild boar crocodile", was a carnivorous reptile with unusually high canines that resemble those of a wild boar. Close to the current crocodile, it was a long animal that could measure between 6 and 8 m long, short on legs with hard, scaled skin. It seems that this crocodile is more of a terrestrial predator according to specialists who judge that its orbits were not adapted to aquatic predation. Length of the figure: 21 cm.
