Product description : Prehistoric figurine: young Smilodon

Discover a ferocious prehistoric feline with this superb figurine from the Papo brand representing a young smilodon!

With its impressive canines that can measure up to 20 cm, the smilodon holds the place of the most powerful feline to have existed. It is nicknamed "sabre-toothed tiger". Appearing around 2.5 million years ago in America, this predator must have lived in clans and hunted like current lions. Smilodons could attack large animals like bison or young mammoths, which they had to hunt in groups. The last smilodons became extinct 10,000 years ago.

Hand-painted plastic figurine.
