Schleich brand plastic figurine. Brontosaurus is one of the most famous herbivorous dinosaurs of the Upper Jurassic. Brontosaurus has a long tail, a massive body and a slender neck. The dinosaur weighed around 15 tonnes and measured around 22 meters. To date, a brontosaurus skeleton has been found, but no skull. However, it is likely that its head was small, like that of the Apatosaurus. The name brontosaurus means "thunder lizard". Researchers once thought the dinosaur cracked its tail like a whip. Dimensions: 32.7 x 5.5 x 10.8 cm.
