Hand painted donkey figurine. Wild in Africa, Central Asia and Tibet, the donkey has been domesticated in Europe and proves to be a very docile and very useful collaborator in farm work. Like the horse, it is an equine. The female is called a donkey and the baby is called a donkey. A breeding male donkey is called a donkey. Its cry, finally, is braying.
