This figurine, in highly realistic hand-painted plastic, is a pretty reproduction of a mare with a white coat, which will allow horse lovers to discover or rediscover the Lipizzaner breed. Originally from Slovenia, this breed, which takes its name from the Slovenian locality of Lipica, was created to supply horses to the prestigious Spanish School of Vienna. Constituting the oldest breed of breeding horse in Europe, it comes from the crossing of Spanish and Arabian horses. The particularity of this breed undoubtedly remains its coat, which is bay at birth, and gradually becomes gray or even white in adulthood as shown in this figurine. Height of the figurine: 9 cm.
