With his small portable workbench, the sculptor François Pompon (1855-1933) liked to walk in the garden of plants in Paris. There he could observe animals and model small sketches. Back in his workshop he sculpted bears, panthers, but also dogs, chickens and rabbits, simplifying the shapes to find the very essence of each animal. His sculptures are re-interpreted by the artist Gérard Lo Monaco, and in collaboration with the RMN and the Musée d'Orsay, Vilac pays tribute to this brilliant artist by manufacturing this magnificent White Bear rocker which will find its place in the most beautiful interiors .
