Product description : Dragonfly Figurine

Discover the world of dragonflies!

The dragonfly is an elegant insect, with its elongated body and transparent wings! It has large eyes that allow it to effectively hunt its prey. Dragonflies are aquatic animals in the larval state and terrestrial animals in the adult state.  It is a predator that is frequently found around areas of fresh to brackish, stagnant to flowing water, which it needs to reproduce. As with all insects, the body of dragonflies is made up of three parts: the head, thorax and abdomen, each consisting of several segments. The wings of dragonflies are independent and very particular; they allow them feats of flight prohibited to other insects.  Indeed, dragonflies can fly in place and even backwards.  They can peak at 36 km/h and their climbing speed can reach 1.5 m/s (or 5.4 km/h).
